What they do:
  • Research, create, and format Zine Originals for listing at libraries.
  • Test-print their creations to ensure they are formatted correctly.
  • Submit them to libraries in their region and surrounding regions for community redistribution.
  • Print and distribute (if they feel like it.
Templates & Guidelines
Librarians
What they do:
  • Provide guidance templates, instruction, and guidance to Makers.
  • Collect digital zines from artists, educators and organizers in their state.
  • Screen submissions for errors, factuality, formatting and originality.
  • List approved zines for download and printing by people in their region.
  • Advertise zines on social media and through other outlets.
Become a Librarian
Newsies
What they do:
  • Download Zines relevant to their community from nearby libraries.
  • Print them out, fold and staple the pages together.
  • Distribute them to their community for free or a small fee.
  • Advertise the Free Zine Library so everyone can access the zines.
